Bolzano, 09.11.2023 – SkyAlps announces summer 2024 destinations: In addition to the flights already successfully launched last year, the Italian airline has added Greece to its destinations and starting from June will take passengers directly from Bolzano to Corfu. Flights will operate every Friday until the end of September.
Flights to Olbia and Cagliari in Sardinia, Catania in Sicily, Lamezia Terme in Calabria and Brindisi in Puglia will start in mid-May 2024. In the high season the popular destinations of Cagliari and Brindisi will both have an additional flight every week. There will also be flights to the Spanish island of Ibiza and the Croatian island of Brač. German tourists will still be able to travel conveniently to South Tyrol from Berlin, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. The German summer offer is extended with the addition of Kassel.
"Corfu is a new and attractive destination for people from South Tyrol which ideally completes our summer offer ", explained Josef Gostner, President of SkyAlps. "Demand for a destination in Greece was high so we are even happier to provide it next summer. We have also arranged something special for families from South Tyrol: in summer 2024, children up to the age of 12 years old can fly to the sea while paying half the ticket price".
An incentive for family holidays at the sea
With SkyAlps, children from 2 to 11 years old can fly directly from Bolzano to the sea with a discountof50% on the ticket price net of taxes during summer 2024. Children under the age of 2 years old fly for free. While many airlines drastically reduce or do not even consider discounts for younger passengers, SkyAlps provides an attractive offer designed for the many families from South Tyrol.
Focus also paid to regional connections
In the future the regional flight program will be expanded further. Even in summer 2024 SkyAlps will provide a total of three flights with take-off and landing in Rome: to Verona, Cuneo and Crotone. In collaboration with tour operators, holiday destinations departing from the aforementioned airports will also be added to the flight plan in the near future.
