Scheduled flights
SkyAlps.com is currently offering exciting summer destinations, and travellers can look forward to four new dream destinations. In addition to Olbia and Cagliari in Sardinia, Lamezia Terme in Calabria, Catania in Sicily, and Ibiza, SkyAlps is now flying for the first time to Brindisi (Apulia), Brac (Croatia), Palma (Mallorca), and Zurich (Switzerland). German holidaymakers can also fly from Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Berlin to Bolzano three times a week, making it easy to enjoy a long summer holiday in South Tyrol or book a short trip to the region. In autumn, a fourth weekly flight will be added for Hamburg and Berlin. In winter, Billund (Denmark) and Antwerp (Belgium) will be offered for the first time, in addition to Copenhagen and the three German metropolitan cities.
Ticket prices start at just over €100 in the low season for shorter flights and at just over €200 in the high season for longer routes.
SKY ALPS S.r.l. offers South Tyroleans and residents of the surrounding regions of Tyrol and Trentino the opportunity to fly on holiday stress-free with a highly efficient aircraft. We know that air traffic accounts for 2.8 percent of global CO2 emissions. That is why climate protection concerns us all, and we must act in a sustainable and effective way.
"SkyAlps' investment in the energy-efficient Dash 8 Q400 aircraft is aimed at keeping CO2 emissions per passenger kilometre as low as possible. While the European average is around 3.6 litres per 100 km per passenger, SkyAlps achieves an average consumption of 2.3 litres per 100 km per passenger, up to 40% below the European average."
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have confirmed that the advanced design of the Dash 8-Q400 puts it far ahead of current regional jets and turboprops in terms of noise during take-off and landing. This has also been confirmed by the airport's neighbours, who work in the surrounding fields every day.
