Access to the airport
As fascinating as aviation is, some areas are not open to the public and may only be accessed by authorized personnel.
These include:
- personnel with an airport ID (TIA – Tesserino di Ingresso in Aeroporto)
- people with a visitor pass
- passengers with a valid boarding pass.
Only vehicles with an appropriate permit may drive on the sterile surface of the airport. Only drivers with an airport driving permit may drive a vehicle on airport property (ADP – Airport Driving Permit).
Authorized access and the issuance of airport driving permits are regulated by ENAC regulations and airport rules (see here).
The issuance of the above permits and the ADP is subject to the following tariff fee.
